We’re excited to announce that Quartzy will attend the Biophysical Society’s 61st Annual Meeting in New Orleans from Feb. 11-15!

This marks our third trip to BPS: an annual event that brings together nearly 7,000 researchers from across the world to present and learn about the latest and greatest work in life, physical, and computational sciences. The largest meeting of biophysicists in the world, BPS 2017 will feature more than 4,000 poster presentations, 500 speakers, 200 exhibits, and 20 symposia. We’ll be there to support the scientific community, as well as demonstrate to attendees the time- and money-saving benefits of our free lab management platform.

For those of you who will be platform speakers or poster presenters, Quartzy will provide free printed networking cards that contain your contact information and research abstract. These scientific business cards are a gift from us to aid the dissemination of your research, in keeping with our mission to accelerate the pace of scientific discovery. Check out our networking cards FAQ page for details on when and where to pick up yours.

BPS is organized by the Biophysical Society: a professional scientific organization founded in 1958 that promotes the development of the biophysics field. Its 9,000 members span the globe, where they teach and conduct research in universities, labs, government agencies, and industry.

For those of you attending, please visit our booth in the convention center lobby (look for the bright orange banners) to say hello, tell us about your research, and pick up your networking cards. We look forward to seeing you in New Orleans!
